The Nine Temples (Kovil)

There are nine temples into which everyone of the natukottai chettiar community fall into. Each of these temples have a unique quality and the reason behind their construction. All of them have a God & a Goddess & also have a number of pirivugal. By pirivugal we mean further break up of the masses. The important points to be noted is also listed and the distance of each of the temple from karikudi (capital of chettinad) is also mentioned here.
